Ich erfülle mir einen Jugendtraum. Früher wurde jedes Abenteuer in vier bis fünf Etappen in ZACK veröffentlicht. Nach einiger Zeit erschienen die Folgen in sogenannten Sonderheften. Ich hatte alle. Ein Verwandtern wollte sie "mal lesen". Danach warfen die Hefte verschwunden. Diese Ausgabe kann man nur bei mir zu Hause lesen.
Endlich herausgebracht! Eine der besten Comanche Stories mit Rezensionen an geniale Western im Eastwood Stil.Geniales Storyboard und sehr reale Menschenbilder. Darf nicht in der Sammlung fehlen!
Mir hat die für Western äusserst untypische herbstlich-verregnte Stimmung in "Das Tal ohne Licht" extrem gefallen. Atmosphärisch einer der stärksten Comanche-Bände. Auch die Geschichte ist über weite Strecken sehr gelungen. Red Dust als gebrochener Held, der aus dem Gefängnis zurückkehrt, verstärkt die düstere Stimmung und verleiht der Story zusätzliche Tiefe. Schade ist nur, dass die Story am Ende allzu simpel und stereotyp aufgelöst wird. Über die ästhetische Qualität der Bilder brauch ich erst gar nichts zu sagen, die ist ohnehin genial :o)
